- Are Kind & Fern bath boxes plant-based?
- We aim to source skin-friendly, plant-based and environmentally-friendly ingredients wherever we can - always avoiding excessive chemicals and plastic-based ingredients. Full ingredient lists will be on every product page when we launch including any allergens.
- How do you source ingredients?
- We aim for skin-friendly, plant-based, environmentally-friendly ingredients like beautiful essential oils, and steer clear of excessive chemicals and plastic-based fillers. Our boxes are made in the UK, balancing deep care for little ones' skin with a dash of colourful fun.
- What if my child reacts to a product?
- Every child is different - please check the ingredient list on each product page and be mindful of any known intolerances. In case of irritation, rinse thoroughly and stop use. If the reaction worsens, please seek medical advice.
- Where do you ship?
- Kind & Fern ships across the UK. International shipping isn't available at launch.
- Can I cancel or pause the subscription?
- Yes. The Splash Subscription can be paused, skipped or cancelled anytime from your account. You can also choose to purchase a one-off box for yourself or the perfect gift.
- What ages are the bath boxes for?
- The Splash Edit is designed for families with children - we advise that our products are suitable for ages 3+ and are especially loved by roughly 3-8 year olds. Of course, you know your children best and everyone is different!
- Where are the bath boxes made?
- Our boxes are lovingly created in Hitchin, UK. We source our components (products, ingredients, packaging) from the UK where possible, and always strive to use ethical and sustainable sources.
- Will your bath products stain?
- With normal, supervised bath time - popping products into the water rather than holding onto them - you shouldn't see any staining at all, and we've had zero reports of bath staining. If little hands do grip a teenie or rock for longer than a splash, you might see some colour linger on skin - the good news is all our colours are cosmetic or food grade, so this fades just like a blackberry or beetroot stain would. Do take extra care with highly porous surfaces like marble or quartz, which are famous for soaking up colour a bit like a coffee or tea ring.
- Are your products vegan?
- Yes - all our products are vegan and cruelty-free.
- Is your packaging sustainable?
- We've worked very hard to make our packaging as sustainable as possible. Bath products are wonderfully water-soluble, so they need protecting on their way to you and in warm, steamy bathrooms - every part of our packaging, bar the compliance label on the back of your pouches, is recycled, recyclable or biodegradable. As we grow and can place bigger orders, we're hoping to open up bespoke sustainable packaging too.
