A little brand for the big, small moments.

"Like so many families, we found the start and end of the day could quickly become the most chaotic, intense and underprepared moments — when we wanted them to be the magical ones."

With busy lives and two little kids running around our home, those high-pressure handover hours kept slipping by without us truly being in them. We love our kids, we love each other, but it felt like we were constantly doing rather than being. We felt frazzled by the time the morning or evening chaos was over, with a niggling feeling that it could have gone better if we were only more prepared. 

We started small. A new bath toy here, a different bubble bath there. One of our youngest's first words was 'colour' because he loved adding mini coloured bombs to the bath. And slowly but surely, bathtime turned into our favourite part of the day — a race to choose the bath flavour, our little safe haven where excitement gradually melted to relaxation, where giggles turned to yawns, and imaginations ran wild, into bedtime stories and happy dreams.

That took me back to my own childhood- the joy of making potions, testing textures, where for once in my day I was in charge of the decisions.

So we built Kind & Fern — to make it easier for families like ours to take one thing out of their heads, and feel the magic of those everyday moments. Bath time as a fun, sensory ritual of play, learning and connection.
